摘要： In order to perform a quality control and / or automatic optical classification ofplants, a photographic color electronic camera takes a picture of a plant from the topand an electronic camera taking the halftone takes a snapshot of the plant side. Theelectrical image signals supplied by each camera are digitized and are operated by animage computer to determine the characteristics of the plant. The photograph taken bythe electronic camera taking the halftone allows in particular to determine the height ofthe plant. Each camera has a light source. In order to avoid detrimental mutual influenceof shots and their operation, each camera is designed so as not to be sensitive to thelight generated by the assistant light source to the other camera. It is also possible toprevent adverse mutual influences by means of a control circuit connecting the two lightsources alternately and triggering the shooting of the plant by each device in a timeinterval where only the source adjoint light to the photographing apparatus concerned isswitched on.
