As we finished our study in a semester

As we finished our study in a semester, we may find that we have a lot of tools no longer useful, such as textbooks, test preparation materials, dictionaries and CDs etc. How to deal with those things is a big problem. Some students throw them, some keep them for memory and some sell them in the flea market on campus. I think the last choice is the best one, because flea market is helpful.

Firstly, flea market helps sellers make full use of their belongings meanwhile earn money. The useless materials of the sellers can be sold at a good price in the flea market, which is better than throwing them away. Secondly, flea market helps buyers get what they want economically. Sometimes the new books or materials are far more expensive than the old ones while the latter are as useful as the former. What’s more, some notes on the used books can help the buyers efficiently.

Lastly, flea market helps protect the environment. When the used materials are turned over to the buyers, a lot of cost on producing new ones is saved. And the resources of study can be used repeatedly by the students through the second hand trade. We also form a good habit of reusing these things. Since the “useless” materials find their use in flea market, there are less pollution of rubbish to some extent.

In a word, market can help sellers, buyers, and the protection of environment. So you have something no longer useful, you can think of selling them in the flea market other than throwing them into the rubbish
