We are going to have plenty of circumstances that knock us on our back. My personal favorites are to review one's own past victories, remind ourselves that life is cyclical, and to speak to others in the public eye, or to those who have been successful, to
realize that they have failed many times to get to where they are today. Learn how to bounce back from defeat and never, never give up.
The difference between successful people and failures is that successful people make a habit of doing the things that failures do not like to do. And what are those things? Well, the things that failures don't like to do are the same things that successful people don't like to do either. But successful people do them anyway because they realize that these are the prices that they must pay for the success that they desire. Successful people are more concerned with pleasing results. Failures are more concerned with pleasing methods.Successful people do things that are goal
achieving.Unsuccessful people do things that are tension relieving.Successful people do the things that are hard and necesary and important.Unsuccessful people,on the other hand, prefer to do the things that are fun and easy and which give immediate enjoyment.
Remember, everything in life is a test.Every day, every hour and sometimes every minute, you are taking a test of self-mastery,self-control and self-discipline.The test is to see whether you can make yourself do the things that are most important and stay with them until they complete. The test is whether or not you can keep your mind on what you want and where you are going rather than thinking about you don't want or problem that you have had in the past.
With nearly 15 million workers unemployed right now in the U.S., it's easy to get discouraged. Don't! Most successful and wealthy people have overcome obstacles and failure along the way. Steve Jobs was ousted from Apple when he was 30. Today, he's a billionaire and a legend. Plus, after getting fired, he created another billion-dollar media company, Pixar.
\"Bouncing back from defeat is something all great achievers have. They have this undying belief good things will happen and will continue to happen,\" says Butowsky. Take Michael Jordan. \"His airness\" was cut from his high school basketball team. Motivated by the rejection, Jordan became a star the next season. The rest is history. Strong belief is not good enough. Faced with impossible odds and compelling evidence, belief alone may not suffice if you don’t have the hardware to go with it. Failure only becomes a harsher reality. Research has shown that simply trying to
emotionally charge yourself up to achieve a goal will not guarantee long term success. our self image is responsible for our self success.we should try our best, and you will certainly fail if you don’t challenge.
When you are faced with a crisis as an adult, you can go back to your youth and think of all the adversities you were able to overcome. What’s more you should remind
youself that life is cyclical .Try not to be passive let things happen to you. Instead, think of yourself as someone who can solve problems and learn from experience. If you are stymied, think about what you have to do to get over the hurdle. Have something you want to achieve and work towards it. The value of faith cannot be overestimated. Faith often gives us the strength to go on in difficult times. When you believe that “God’s will will never take you where God’s grace cannot protect you,” it can be extraordinarily reassuring. Perhaps it’s a politician who came back from defeat in one election to win another, or a celebrity who has overcome a drug addiction. Also, ask people you know how they were able to bounce back from difficult situations in their lives. This will give you hope and inspiration.
